How to Use the GST Calculator

The GST Calculator assists you to easily determine the precise Goods Services Tax (GST) on any sale or service. It also depicts the end amount of money you need to pay as well as the tax breakup. That is how you can use it:

Step 1: Enter Item Details

Complete the item, quantity and each price. This provides the calculator with the base price of what you have bought.

Step 2: Select Price Type

Select whether the price you entered is

GST Exclusive-The entered price will attract GST on top.

GST Inclusive-GST will be separated out of the price entered.

Step 3: Provide GST Rate

Record the appropriate GST rate (e.g. 5, 12, 18, 28), as the type of product/ service.

Step 4: Choose Place of Supply

Intra-State (within the same state): GST will be divided into two, CGST and SGST.

Inter-State (Two states): IGST will be there.

Step 5: View Calculations

When figures are keyed in, the calculator immediately shows:
